About Peterborough Area Roller Derby
Area 705 / Peterborough Roller Derby blended their derby families in an inaugural AGM on March 31, 2015. We’re a co-ed, skater run league in Peterborough, Ontario, and in 2016 became an incorporated not-for-profit.
We practice year round with an off season around the holidays in December.
Volunteers including ref’s and NSO’s are always needed, welcome, and wanted!

About Fresh Meat
We run 12 week Fresh Meat programs with several intakes per year: Run out of St. James United Church on Romaine St. in Peterborough. We do not accept Fresh Meat skaters during the summer months. Our priority is making sure that skaters are trained properly, Roller Derby is a full contact sport and safety is our first priority. 2016 Winter fresh meat is now over.
2016 Fall fresh meat begins on September 28th, with meat & greets held September 14th & 21st.
