Home Season Opener! Fight for Your Right to PARDY!

Join us for PARD’s first home bout of the 2019 season, featuring an open co-ed scrimmage to warm you up, followed by the Riverside Riot Squad versus Durham Region Roller Derby’s DRRD’y Farmers in full contact, flat track roller derby action.
Doors open at 4:30 pm.
Scrimmage at 5pm

Co-ed Black and White scrimmage is open to all skaters who have passed mins and are 18+, with proof of CRDI insurance. 5$ per skater to participate. Skaters MUST preregister! Sign up for the scrimmage available shortly!

Skate Nights are Back — Love to Skate!

Come out to Peterborough Area Roller Derby’s February Open Recreational Skate Night: Friday February 15, from 7 – 9pm

Location:  The Village on Argyle Gym, 780 Argyle ST., Peterborough

Admission 2$ at the door — please bring cash, though there is an ATM on site.  PARD members skate free.

Here’s your chance to shake your tail feather with coloured disco lights and styling dj’ing.  And the last dance will NOT be a slow dance.

Open skate nights — everyone welcome — all ages.  No Experience Necessary.

Bring your own gear.

We do have a small amount of gear available for rental at $5 for the night, contact us if you are interested and we will let you know if we have something that will fit you.  Do NOT assume we’ll have your size if you show up at the door!

All skaters must either have valid CRDI insurance, or be willing to sign a waiver.  For those who’d like to download, print and fillout waivers in advance, here they are! 18+ skate waiver  or kids skate waiver.

There will be pop and water available for purchase from PARD – $1

Join us for Roller Derby 101! Learn to Skate or Build New Skills!

Roller Derby 101, a 12 week training course, interspersed with open skate nights, starts this September!   Open to skaters of all levels or competitive interests.  Also, refs in training skate for free!

Tuesday September 4, 7 – 8 pm, St. James Church (Romaine & Aylmer)

Friday September 7, 7-9pm, The Village on Argyle, 780 Argyle St. Peterborough : league training session, with drop ins welcome!

Tuesday September 11, 7-8pm, The Village on Argyle: Rumbling Rage in the House! Rumbling Rage will be on site Tuesday Sept 11, so you can pick up your spanking fresh smelling roller gear!

Silence of the Jams Hits the Evinrude Centre June 16!

Saturday June 16.  Doors open 4pm, bouts at 5 & 7pm.  Evinrude Centre, 911 Monaghan Rd.

Tickets 10$ in advance, 12$ at the doors.  Purchase advance tickets from a skater, or at Things from Mom’s Basement on Charlotte St.

4pm: Toronto Roller Derby’s Vipers versus Durhams DRRD’y Farmers.

7pm, PARD’s Riverside Riot Squad faces up against Kingston’s Skateful Dead.

Jail Break’er Victory!

The Riverside Riot Squad came back from a short road trip to Lindsay with a win on June 10 in a well-matched bout versus Kingston’s Skateful Dead. Final score of 125 to 107.
