Charter Tryouts collage of text and charter roller derby skaters.

Interested players are asked to complete form to secure a tryout spot for PARD’s charter team for the 2025/26 season.

We are a new charter team that has success in our second WFTDA season.

We are an inclusive competitive team who is looking for players with the same mindset.

PARD practices are Tuesdays (league) from 6:30-8:30 and Charter 8:30-9:30. We will be adding a second practice night closer to game season, we will poll the team with available options to determine when the second practice will be.

Monthly dues are $65 for Charter skaters.

There is a 50% attendance requirement for both charter and league practices in order to maintain good standing as a skater in the league.

This team travels internationally, so a passport is required.

Please come to tryouts prepared to work hard and bring your black and white jerseys.

Try out date is September 14 4-7pm at the Bewdley Arena.

There is a $15 fee to tryout. These payments can be sent to ptboareard@gmail.com with tryouts in the comments.

Final Home Full Contact Double Header!

This is your last chance to see PARD play in Douro this season! And it’s a double header featuring both our Regulation and Charter teams!
Doors open at 3:30 pm
4:00 pm PARD Charter (A) vs Salt City Roller Derby
6:30 pm PARD Regulation (B) vs Ottawa Roller Derby’s Bytown Blackhearts
No ATM on site — but we do now take Square for tickets, merch and our concessions. The event will be licensed, but CASH only for the bar.
Tickets $15 at the door; $10 in advance by messaging a skater or pre-ordering through our Square site! http://peterborough-area-roller-derby.square.site/

Kids 12 & under free.
Food truck on site, as well as local vendors and merch in the venue.
Don’t forget to stay for the half-time Chuck-a-Duck and Pool Noodle Pony races for your chance to win great prizes!

Home Season Double Header — PARD the Next Generation

Head out to the  Douro Community Centre on July 13 to see not only PARD regulation meet up with the Renegade Derby Dames  but also Next Gen PARD Juniors taking on Alliston Junior Roller Derby for their first home game!

Doors Open 1:30 pm

Juniors 2:00 pm

Regulation 4:00 pm

Come for the Derby, stay for the half time Chuck a Duck for great prizes.  Also check out league sponsor Mammoth BBQ who will be cooking up a storm in the parking lot. 

Tickets $15 at the door, 10$ in advance (Advanced tickets available via Square! )

There is no ATM on site, but we are now able to take Square for payments, so you can grab a Capy shirt (or two) and pick up some of our new merch items.

Our first home season double header on June 8 is fast approaching and we need YOU!

Volunteer opportunities are available for a variety of jobs both on bout day and before — postering, event set up and tear down, ticket taking and check-in, non- skating official positions ( no experience required), and referee duties. Also a great opportunity for reliable students to earn volunteer hours in a fun environment.

Get Ready to Greet the Meats!

It’s PARD’s May fundraiser – – pepperoni sticks from Halenda Meats, a local award winning butcher shop. Each bag consists of 10 sticks, (6 mild and 4hot); individual sticks $2.00. Each stick is 50g, and shelf stable for up a minimum 6 months. Pre-orders due by MAY 31 — limited quantities also available at our summer bouts while supplies last.DM the league via socials, or message your favourite PARDy person to order!

It’s easy to shop — browse at www.florabundaseeds.com or check out  the sale flyers below, then connect with a league member to place and pay for your order!  Don’t know a skater?  email the league at ptboareard@gmail.com and we’ll help you out. 
 
Every seed packet purchased directly supports the league. There is no tax on your purchase, and seeds will be available for pick up in Peterborough mid april, or by connecting with the league member you placed your order with.
