The first bout features Northumberland Roller Girls’ Ganaraska Gravediggers blocking up against the Belleville Bombshells. Later is the final 2015 home bout for Area 705 / PRD against local rivals Lindsay Roller Derby – following on Area 705 / PRD’s home town victory in June against Toronto’s D-Vas.
August 22 also marks the announcement of the new name for the amalgamated Peterborough league – the Name This League contest continues until July 31 at midnight. Visit pard-rollerderby.com to enter name suggestions, and win a chance for 2016 season’s tickets and derby glory.
Tickets are only 10$ at the door for the entire evening, with children under 10 free. Come early if you want suicide seating – doors open at 3pm. Various local vendors will be on hand selling food and merchandise – there is no ATM on site, so please come prepared! Bouts start at approximately 4 and 6pm.
